Baby Shower

We had a great time celebrating Carter at his baby shower! We chose a local restaurant in Old Town near the water, Cafe 44, to host the shower. It was super bright and sunny but extremely cold! The restaurant was super accommodating, friendly, and welcoming for our event. We had a champagne brunch (can you tell how much we love brunch?, lol) and played a baby shower games. Big Brother Aiden was so excited for the baby shower that he decided to wear a suit jacket, lol. He would have added a tie if I let him but thankfully he believed me when I said he would be a little overdressed.

Our baby shower theme was "Welcome Little Man" and we decorated the room and games with mustache inspired decor. I found most of the decorations on Amazon that came super quick and were great quality for our event. We had fun mustache and glitter balloons to decorate the room, mustache goodie bags, and mustache and little man inspired props for a photo booth. The restaurant has a really cool greenery wall backdrop that we used as a background for photos, cupcake station, and gift table. I made the baby shower printable games myself and found a DIY jeopardy website that lets you make a customizable game for any event. We had the most fun playing baby shower jeopardy, I highly recommend this game for any family or group event! I went online and downloaded a customizable template and used our iPad for the questions. We broke our group into two teams, it was super competitive!

I didn't take nearly enough pictures! I'm trying to find a balance of capturing and enjoying the moments that make this journey special.
